The question
What can children understand when they must build the meaning in their own minds?
The work
Students first encounter a complex subject through audio alone, then explain what they understood and imagined. Only afterward do they receive the written source and reflect on how their understanding changed.
The project treats listening as active construction rather than passive reception and uses AI-generated podcasts as part of a new form of literacy.
